Who We Are
The Tipton Community Council is actively seeking to build a strong and multi cultural community based membership. Any community “stakeholder” is encouraged to join. A stakeholder is defined as an individual who lives in the larger community of Tipton as defined by USPS zip code boundaries. Members of the community based “stakeholders” council are chosen and elected to form an official governing body.
The council is a diverse group of citizens, caring about our neighborhoods, willing to spend the time and effort to make life better not only for ourselves, but for all concerned. We are your neighbors, friends, and local business owners. We are your faith-based leaders. We are the life’s blood of the community and take responsibility for our actions. We gain our strength through common goals and determination to make Tipton a better place to live, raise our children and plan our futures. We gather as a group to freely exchange our concerns, ideas, and dreams for our community.
What We Do
We create an environment that fosters and develops community involvement. We create projects and special events that promote a sense of belonging and pride in community.
